Yes, I'm going to the bathroom fine. I suppose a better title would have been Bathroom Construction Update. Oh well...

The exterior walls of the house are brick. Not like current construction, which is stick framing (wood) with an exterior brick veneer. Nope. Brick on the outside, brick on the inside. Some of the interior walls are plaster right on the brick. Since the bathroom has to fit in all the plumbing, they framed a wall right in front of the masonry. This framing I have just removed, and will spend the weekend reconstructing.

But this should be the low tide mark for things looking bad. I shouldn't be destroying any other part of the bathroom on purpose any more (by accident, who knows?). Once the framing is in, then comes the electric & plumbing. And if plumbing comes, can drywall be far behind?
