I've said it before, but it bears repeating -- infrastructure is not sexy. Nor particularly photogenic.

F'instance, plumbing. I could show you before and after photos of the plumbing work I did, but why? "Oooh, in this picture there's no pipe. But in the next one, there's a PIPE!! Yipee!!" Yeah, I don't think you'd have that reaction either.

So I've been slogging it out in the plumbing world for a while, if you were wondering where the bathroom went to.

Next, H and I wended our way up the twisty stairs with unweildy sheets of drywall. It's my personal favorite, drywall. Actually, that's a lie -- I dislike doing drywall. I'm not very good at it, so it's spackling/sanding, spackling/sanding, spackling/sanding, and on and on. Not until it's done well, but just until I'm tired of trying to make it done well.
