With the advent of the spring warmer weather, I'm getting going on the bathroom project. But since drywall doesn't make a very compelling blog entry, here is some vernal photography to hold you until I get to tiling.

Haven't we all bemoaned our neighbors in the autumn? For we all have a right and just amount of fallen leaves that are our responsibility, and any additional unrestrained leaves that might stray from a negligent neighbor fall beyond the bounds of justice.
On my morning walk, I spied the below photo. Surely this is a neighbor who takes responsibility for their part in the season.

So I'm still working on the photos, but I've got a couple albums up already. When all the photos are done, I'll be doing a little write-up on where we were. But until then, enjoy the pics.

"The Witch" an old Aurora monster model I put together when I was ~11.
Don't think I don't hear the clamoring. And I occasionally hear a bit of hubbum.
I'm in the process now of going through the ~2000 pics from Namibia. Fear not, I shan't post that many. If I can weed it down to 100-200 or so I'll be very happy.
But in order for me to work on this, it really needs to get down to at least a murmur
While you're practicing, enjoy these mementos of a rainy Autumnal morning walk.

Zoe (the daughter) is spending a couple of weeks at summer camp. The same summer camp, Camp Chanco, that I worked at for a few years in the 80s. Which got me to thinking about the photos I have of camp. So I scanned a couple of years I worked there-- 83 & 87.
Now summer camp is a lot like, uh, other people's relatives. I consider my own relatives worthy of interest and concern, and would happily look my family photos. I'm sure my friend Chris has an uncle. But Chris' uncle doesn't mean that much to me. And stories and photos of Chris' uncle would interest me very little.
Don't take this as any recommendation to go there, but if you were to find yourself in Oklahoma, what might you do? (Oh, and here's the photo album.)
As much as I dispise the month of February (it's not the month of purification for nothing), it's been going by at a pretty good clip. The work-for-pay thing has been going well -- I predict that it'll be the sport of the future. An unintended side-effect of working-for-pay is the absence of working-on-the-house. So no new bathroom photos for now.
But the kitchen flooring is now in the queue, as is the kitchen tiling -- so it's going.
